Our products

The JM Multidocking system is designed to maximise maintenance efficiency through the provision of continuous ergonomic access for maintenance personnel to all components and areas of the aircraft.

Flexible, adjustable platforms, including scissor and step platforms, provide easy access to all parts of the aircraft
.

The main features of a fully operational Multidocking system comprise:

Docking structure
The docking system for the fuselage and tail structures is supported above the floor and remains independent of any building structure, other than the hangar floor.

Aircraft pitch
The docking system, especially for the fuselage/tail sections, is adjustable to match the aircraft pitch when resting on wheels, stabilising or maintenance jacks.

Coverage for specified aircraft
The docking system provides access to all maintenance areas, ie the control surfaces, upper and lower surfaces of the horizontal stablisiser, all surfaces of the vertical stabiliser, all passenger and fuselage crown levels. Passenger and cargo doors are accessible for opening/closing and servicing, without the movement of large sections of the docking system.

Heavy maintenance
The docking system accommodates the following aircraft for the purpose of heavy maintenance up to and including ‘8C’ or ‘D’ check.
Boeing 747 Series 400
Boeing 777 Series 200 and 300
Airbus A300-310
Airbus A330-200
Airbus A340-500 and 600

Slide boards
Slide boards (laterally adjustable floor sections) are used to conform the dock working surfaces with the aircraft plan profile by the use of hinged metal plates. As required, the design includes mechanically operated sliding platforms complete with locking devices provided that where mechanical systems are employed, manual override is also featured.

.

Movement monitoring
Movement of the system is controlled from Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and monitored by Close Circuit TeleVideo (CCTVideo) situated at agreed locations to provide a clear view of the operations of the dock.

Our Multidocking system is ISO 9002 certified and is subject to stringent Quality Assurance tests and complies with all current Health and Safety at Work regulations. It is constructed in accordance with client acceptable structural standards as generally applicable within the aviation industry.

Mutlidocking system benefits

Users report significant reductions in costs achieved through the system’s ability to handle all types of aircraft and achieve a fast turnround time.

Main benefits cited are :

Speed, efficiency and access to all areas of the aircraft, from nose to tail, delivered at one time within 30 minutes

Crown platforms providing easy access to maintenance and cleaning of upper shell, tail fin and nose of aircraft

Nose docking system with lower deck providing access to changing of windshields and access to the radome
